I Love You:

I wanted to share with everyone who were unable to attend Katie's funeral, part of my eulogy. This is a message I wrote to Katie early one morning when she was at work. I do not have any regrets about our relationship. We had arguments, but we were always able to reconcile because we agreed that nothing was permanent in this world. We understood not to take our relationship for granted because neither of us had ever experienced anything like it. I always wanted to be around her and I am pretty sure she enjoyed my company as well. We both enjoyed writing each other messages of sincerity about our relationship. The title of this posting is the subject of the message. I am very thankful that I was able to spend the time that I did with Katie.

A special thanks to Travis on the Bag Pipes. After leaving a friends house, I needed to go back to the apartment to feed the cats. It was Saint Patric's Day and I had two options on how to get back to the apartment. The one I chose was through Dickson Street (a local strip beside the campus of University of Arkansas). While stopped at a stop light, I heard someone playing the bag pipes. I immediately pulled over, in a handicap parking spot, and ran over to Travis, the fellow who was playing. I told him the situation and told him the time he would need to play. He said he would try but was uncertain if he could attend because he had to work the next day. I am not sure how he was able to make it, but he did. There is something beautiful about random events.
